This is Vivian Maier and she could only be described as the original street photographer.

Vivian was a street photographer between the 1950's-1970's. Her work has only recently been discovered (30-40,000 pictures in negative format) at an auction house in Chicago where she lived for 50 years. Vivian's work has never been published until now. The man who discovered her work and went about the mammoth task of developing the rolls upon rolls of film is John Maloof. He has set up a blog to document her life and work.
