Screw you ebay

I have just discovered a new love..in the form of an American website called Etsy.

Its original aim was to provide a selling place for all things handmade. Art students and crafty folk selling there wares for beans but then the old sneaky vintage crept its way in. Even better its not an auction, everything has a set price...HURRAH!

The selection is amazing (probably because the states have the best thrift stores) and the prices are just so good (especially those of you paying in yoyo's) None of this bidding bullshit that seriously wrecks head..having to be on your computer at the correct time, finger cramps from pressing refresh a hundred times. Even if you do win you end up paying too much for a piece of crap just because you've have had a few glasses of wine.

So check it out and prepare for some serious bargain hunting ladies www.etsy.com couldn't be easier.

The next event takes place Sat 7th and Sun 8th of November and is sure to be a massive day. They have special guest Dj's from Bama-Lama! Mohair Slim and Jim Dandy playing Original 45's and 78's. With drinks specials on both days its sure to be fun...what better way to spend a day getting tipsy and rummaging through vintage gems for peanuts...sounds like heaven to me.
